Malik Muhammad Ali Khokhar son of Malik Nisaar Hussain Khokhar was born on January 6, 1971 at Multan. His father, remained Member of District Council during 1986-89; his maternal grandfather, Mr Niaz Muhammad Khan (ICS) served as nominated Member of Indian Legislative Council during 1940-42; and his paternal great-grandfather, Malik Faiz Bukhsh was hereditory Member of Divisional Durbar during 1900- 06.

His cousin, Rana Sohail Ahmed Noon was Member Punjab Assembly during 1994 and functioned as Advisor to Chief Minister and Parliamentary Secretary for Industries.
