He was also Vice President, Lawn Tennis Association Punjab during 2009-14. He has served as Executive Member of Farmers Association of Pakistan during 2009-13. He has extensively travelled abroad. His uncle, Mian Abdul Haq remained Member of National Assembly and also functioned as Parliamentary Secretary; his another uncle, Mian Ghulam Muhammad served as Member of Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1951-55; his cousin, Mian Muhammad Zaman, remained MNA and also functioned as Minister of State; his another cousin, Mian Muhammad Asghar, served as Member of Punjab Assembly during 2002-2007; and his nephew, Mian Yawar Zaman remained Member of Punjab Assembly during 2002-2007 and is functioning as Provincial Minister for Irrigation in current Assembly.
