Personal Career & Interests	Lt Col (Retd) Shujait Ahmad Khan son of Ch Ahmad Khan was born on April 20, 1947 at Narowal. He obtained the degree of B.Sc in 1966 from Government Degree College, Sheikhupura. He was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1969 and retired in 1996. During his service in Pakistan Army, he remained in various commands and staff appointments; and also served in Inter Services Intelligence and Rangers. He was a Member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and 2008-13; and also served as Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab during 2002-07. He returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third consecutive term in general elections 2013 and was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Consolidation of Holdings and PDMA. The election of PP-136 was declared void by the Election Tribunal on April 17, 2014 and bye-elections was held on May 22, 2014. Lt Col (Retd) Shujait Ahmad Khan contested the election and was re-elected. He was reappointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Consolidation of Holdings and PDMA w.e.f. July 16, 2014. His brother, Chaudhry Shafaat Ahmed Khan was MNA during 1985-88.
