Mr Asif Saeed Manais son of Mr Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais was born on December 1, 1976 at Tibba Sultanpur, District Vehari. He graduated in 1997 from Government College, Lahore. An agriculturist, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07, 2008-13 and functioned as Chairman, Public Accounts Committee No-II during 2003-07. He has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third consecutive term in general elections 2013 and is functioning as Minister for Special Education. His father served as Member of the Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99; and also functioned as Minister for Communication & Works, Food and Transport during 1985-88; as Minister for Agriculture during 1988-90, as Chairman Public Accounts Committee during 1990-93; as Speaker, Punjab Assembly from May 4, 1993 to October 19, 1993; and as Leader of the Opposition during 1997-99 and is a sitting MNA. His brother, Mr Asim Saeed Manais served as Tehsil Nazim, Mailsi for two consecutive terms from 2001- 10.

His mother, Mrs Tehmina Daultana was Member of National Assembly during 1993-96, 1997-99, 2002-08, 2008-13 and is MNA. She functioned as Minister for Women Development, Social Welfare & Special Education during 1997-99; as Minister for Science & Technology during 2008 and is serving as Chairperson, Parliamentary Committee on Appointment of the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women; his grandfather, Mr Riaz Daultana remained MNA during 1972-77 and 1985-88; his another grandfather, Mian Mumtaz Muhammad Daultana was Chief Minister of Punjab during 1951-53.

He has travelled to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE and Saudi Arabia. His father, remained Member of National Assembly for five terms during 1965-69, 1977-77, 1985-88, 1990-93 and 1997-99; his grandfather, Mr Muhammad Yar Khan Khichi served as Member, Punjab Legislative Assembly during 1951-55; as Member Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1956-58; his great-grandfather, Mr Khan Dur Muhammad Khan Khichi was Vice Chairman, District Multan during 1938-44; and his cousin, Mr Aftab Khan Khichi remained MNA during 2002-07.
