Dr Farrukh Javed son of Ch Bashir Ahmed was born on June 6, 1958 at Arifwala. He obtained the degree of MBBS in 1985 from Nishtar Medical College, Multan and that of MRCP in 2002 from Royal College, UK. He has participated in various international conferences and courses held in UK. A medical doctor, who served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and 2008-13. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the third consecutive term in general elections 2013 and is functioning as Minister for Agriculture. His brother, Mian Naveed Tariq served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1997-99.

Mian Atta Muhammad Khan Maneka son of Mian Muhammad Khuda Yar Khan Maneka was born on October 10, 1945. He is a gold medalist in MA from Government College, Lahore (1966). An agriculturist, who acted as Chairman, Market Committee Pakpattan during 1980-83; and as Chairman, District Council Pakpattan during 1991-93. He remained Member, National Assembly during 1989-90. He has served as Member, Punjab Assembly during 1993-96 (functioned as Minister for Education), during 2002-07 and 2008-13. He was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for the fourth term in general elections 2013 and is performing the duties of Minister for Religious Affairs & Auqaf; he held the portfolio of Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal during 2013. He belongs to a well-known political family and his various relations, including his father, have served both National and Provincial Assemblies in various capacities. His wife, Mrs Parveen Akhtar is a sitting MPA from W-305.

He served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 served as Member of Public Accounts Committee-I, 2008-13 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education. An agriculturist, who has returned to Punjab Assembly for the third consecutive term in general elections 2013 and is serving as Member, Standing Committee on Finance. He has extensively travelled abroad. His father remained a Member of Punjab Assembly during 1977, 1985-88, 1988-90 and 1990-93; and his uncles, Pir Ali Gohar Chishty and Pir Ghulam Ali Chishty both remained Members of Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan during 1965-69.
